Raytheon’s Optics Electronics department is hiring for a Senior Electrical Engineer Electronics Integrator to join the team. The Optics Electronics department designs FPGAs, circuit cards, and electronics subassemblies for a range of products including advanced forward-looking infrared sensors, complex pointing and tracking subsystems, and electronics that support video processing and stabilization of imaging systems. The team leverages digital, analog, and power design skills to provide support throughout the product lifecycle from architecture and design through initial low-rate production.
What You Will Do
Collaboratewith a multi-disciplinary engineering team, with the primaryobjectiveof integratingnew designhardware and electronics at the assembly and sub assembly level.
Review schematics, drawings, and specifications ofnew designelectronics hardware and create test plans forinitialcheckout and integration. The scope of work spans frominitialhardware turn-on of lower-level assemblies to supporting qualification testing at the assembly level.
Workin the product development team environment with systems, mechanical, and software engineers.
This position may require occasionalbusiness-relatedtravel.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experienceoranadvanceddegree in a related field and minimum 3years’ experience.
Experience with reading hardware documentation of cameras, mechanisms, and other devices and developing scripts for troubling or exercising hardware features.
Experience with interfaces and bus standards such as:
PCIe and Gigabit Ethernet.
High speed data standards.i.e.GigE Vision/ HD-SDI,CoaXpress, Aurora,and/orCameraLink.
Experienceofimage sensor integration,e.g.new visible and IR cameras.
Qualifications We Prefer
The ability to review and redline schematics for modification of CCAs,i.e.white wires, dead bugging, etc.
The ability to read memory maps of circuit cards and generate scripts to troubleshoot and isolate issues.
Proficient in schematic review; translate intoan initialCCA checkout andfirst-timepower procedure ofnew designs.
Experience with generating pseudocode and state machines for systems, firmware, and software engineers.
Proficient inMATLABandMentorXpeditionEnterprise.
Experience in low volume, high complexity development environments.
ExperienceutilizingFPGAs, SoC’s and real-time microcontrollers.
Multi-Gigabit transceivers,DDRand flash memories.
Familiarityin Sensor and Read Out IC.
Experience working on Agile Teams using JIRA.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
