Analyze, design, and build applications. Work on database objects and enterprise application integration and serverside applications. Build deployment tools and technologies. Conduct database performance tuning and optimization. Install and configure databases. Perform data migration. Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability without hindering performance. Regularly monitor and maintain databases, including data cleaning and archiving to manage storage and improve performance. Implement monitoring systems to track database performance metrics and configure alerts for potential issues. Diagnose and resolve database related issues, collaborate with development and DevOps teams to address performance bottlenecks and challenges. Skills required: Data Guard, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Rational Clear Case, and AIXReqd Reqd Education Associate Degree with 5 years experience in the same or related field
