ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in McHenry, Illinois
Our client, manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: McHenry, IL
Shift: Night Shift (10:45pm-7:15am, Monday-Thursday)
What's the Job?
Complete maintenance assignments to build, repair, and maintain equipment in optimal condition
Troubleshoot mechanical devices in operation and perform repairs or replacements as needed
Set up and operate shop machinery such as lathe, drill press, grinders, band saws, cutting torch, welder
Install, repair, or modify hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to improve reliability and uptime
Research and procure parts and tools, maintain accurate inventory, and update maintenance logs and documentation
What's Needed?
Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or PLC troubleshooting and repair
Ability to operate shop machinery and use hand and pneumatic tools effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to equipment maintenance
Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly and more than 250 pounds occasionally
Willingness to follow safety, health, and environmental guidelines and use required safety equipment
