St. Luke's Health System Assistant Nurse Manager - Med/Surg in McCall, Idaho

St. Luke’s McCall is a 22-bed community hospital located in the beautiful, rugged mountains of central Idaho. Founded in 1956 as McCall Memorial Hospital, today we’re a modern hospital offering a wide range of services right here at home. These include our 24-hour emergency department, orthopedics, surgical care, maternal and childbirth services, sleep medicine, hospice care, and more. We also have several affiliated outpatient clinics, and offer many programs dedicated to your health that focus on education, fitness, prevention, and wellness.

What You Can Expect:

  • Schedule: 4/10's or 5/8's - hours are flexible but we do require early and late night shifts to meet the needs of our night shift employees

  • Direct Reports: Approximately 30

  • Oversees daily unit operations, including staffing, patient care quality, safety metrics, and compliance with policies and evidence-based practices.

  • Leads and develops staff through coaching, performance management, and engagement, while supporting patient satisfaction and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing

  • Experience: 3 years nursing experience

  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License required and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
