ManpowerGroup Textile Machine Operator in McAllen, Texas
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry specializing in plastic and synthetic textile products, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the production process, supporting the manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay: $14-$16
Shift: Rotating Shift - will work one week morning, following week late shift, and the following week overnight.
What's the Job?
Operate, monitor, and maintain machinery used in the production of plastic-based or synthetic textile products.
Load raw materials such as polypropylene, polyester, or other fibers into machines according to production requirements.
Adjust machine settings including temperature, speed, tension, and alignment to ensure optimal product quality.
Inspect finished and in-process textile products for quality, strength, and uniformity.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance to keep machinery running efficiently and safely.
What's Needed?
Experience operating industrial or textile machinery preferred, especially with plastic or synthetic materials.
Basic understanding of plastic processing, synthetic fibers, or textile production processes.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to machinery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
Ability to read work orders, specifications, and process instructions accurately.
