U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command Facilities Improvement Coordinator in McAlester, Oklahoma
Summary About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at McAlester, Oklahoma and serves as the Project Manager/Coordinator for all installation repair projects and various other specially funded improvement projects administered by the Public Works Directorate. Responsibilities Develops, coordinates and manages a variety of projects from inception to completion. Identifies actual or potential problem areas, trends, significant accomplishments, areas of imbalance, or similar factors involved. Analyzes changes in programs, technological developments, events that cannot be predicted, or conflicting requirements. Monitors all maintenance or equipment installation projects for timeliness, accuracy and completion. Interpret project requirements to set up detailed work operations on a daily basis to meet work schedules. Assists in developing annual and long-range execution plans that cover a wide range of concerns. Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: preparing, altering and revising project records and providing periodical status reports; recommending the number and types of employees needed, considering skills, personnel, materials, and equipment available and required; coordinating work of one shop with other shops that may be involved; and serving as primary point of contact on all matters concerning special projects. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Student Loan Repayment Program is not authorized. This position may require overtime work. This is a Bargaining Unit position AR3135. Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 1 year 1 day. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
