Job Summary:
Bouldin and Lawson LLC is looking to hire a detail-oriented person to be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the flow of materials and information within a production environment, ensuring that schedules are met and inventory levels are maintained.
KeyResponsibilities
- ClericalSupport :Performclericaltasksthatsupportproductioncontrol,including trackinginventorylevelsofparts,components,andrawmaterials,andcoordinatingorderingandinvoicingwithvendors.
- Scheduling :Providedaily,weekly,andmonthlyschedulingmatrices,includingmaterialavailabilityandcomponentshortages.
- DataManagement :InputandmaintainproductiondatainERP(EnterpriseResource Planning)orMRP(MaterialRequirementsPlanning)systems,ensuringaccuraterecordsofproductionactivities.
- OrderTracking :Monitorthestatusofcustomerordersandproductionschedulesto identifyissuesordelays,coordinatingwithstakeholderstoexpediteordersandresolve problems.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Pre-Employment Drug Screen
Proficiency in data entry, basic math and familiarity with production software or database
Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively coordinate with team members and management
Ability to do both office work and on-site activities within the production area
Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure quality in production processes
Ability to work with vendors to monitor orders to identify issues or delays in materials, to expedite orders and resolve problems
Preferred:
1+ years of experience in Production Control
Familiarity with ERP systems and BOM management
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
