Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Microsoft Power Platform solutions including:
- Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven apps)
- Power Automate workflows
- Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
Build and manage applications leveraging Microsoft Dataverse, including:
- Data modeling and table relationships
- Business rules and validation logic
- Role-based security configuration
Configure and develop solutions within SharePoint Online, including support for flattened SharePoint architectures and custom workflows.
Develop and troubleshoot workflow automation including email notifications, approval routing, return logic, and status tracking.
Support phased delivery of application modules and iterative releases aligned to sprint cycles.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
Use JIRA to manage user stories, defects, tasks, and sprint tracking.
Support UAT preparation, test case validation, defect resolution, and production deployment readiness.
Collaborate with Product Owners, PMs, and federal stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Prepare release notes and technical documentation.
Ensure solutions align with federal security, governance, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field; work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
3 to 6 years of experience developing applications within Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
Demonstrated experience developing:
- Power Apps (Canvas required; Model-Driven preferred)
- Power Automate flows
- SharePoint Online solutions
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse.
Experience working in JIRA for backlog management and sprint tracking.
Experience supporting Agile development lifecycles including UAT and production releases.
Experience troubleshooting workflow defects, approval routing issues, and email notification failures.
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with federal stakeholders.
Required Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker AssociateorPower Platform Developer Associate
- One foundational Azure certification (such as AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a Federal Health agency such as NIH, HHS, CDC, FDA, or similar.
- Experience working in a federal contracting environment with structured PoP, burn rate awareness, and backlog prioritization.
- Experience delivering modular or phased application rollouts.
- Familiarity with SharePoint architecture modernization efforts.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services or external systems via APIs.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
