Make an Impact As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Position Overview
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform high‑quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring safe and accurate patient care. Working closely with the Director of Medical Imaging Services and the Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will use advanced imaging technology and independent clinical judgment to deliver essential diagnostic results that support patient treatment and outcomes.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Education
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
Experience
- Less than one year of previous job‑related experience (new graduates welcome!)
Licensure & Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification through the American Heart Association
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB)
Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) – Division of Nuclear Safety license

Pay Range: $37.00 - 57.00 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
