Description:

Lab Support Service Tech supports the delivery of patient care through the receipt, processing, and routing of specimens. Completes registration of outside patients including billing and insurance information. Provides customer friendly service to any person requesting supplies or information by phone, computer or in person.
What * *you will * do:*
Performs duties for pre- and post-analytical testing according tostandard operating procedures. Receives and evaluates all specimensto ensure positive identification and appropriateness of sample.Properly processes samples for testing performed in-house and/orreferred to outside laboratories. Interacts positively with clients wheninappropriate specimens or short samples have been submitted.Works with fellow team members to properly triage and efficientlymove samples through the pre-analytical phase of testing.

Pay Range: $15.66 - $21.10 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
