JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Flexo-Graph Press Operator will provide quality service in label manufacturing by: Setting up and operating, label making equipment, to include printing press, digital press, die-cutting machines, and turret rewind machines. Maintains machinery in good working condition by performing routine and scheduled maintenance. Troubleshoot and make machinery adjustments. Set up impressions on press; mount printing plates to cylinders and set color labels. Set die-cutting pressures. Register two-color printing and die cuts. Order supplies; inks, dies and paper. Produce expected levels of throughput and maintain a safe and clean work environment. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience and a minimum of 2 years printing operations in a manufacturing environment. Good hand-eye coordination. Must have a keen eye for color. Must be able to use hand tools. Experience with operating and setting up machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment is required. Previous Flexo-Graph Press operation experience preferred. Good organizational skills are required. Must be able to work independently. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with an ever-changing number of variables relating to the types of labels and folders involved. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
