Your mission starts here at Raytheon Australia! Right now, we are seeking a bright and energised Senior Systems Administrator.
Raytheon Australia works closely with the Australian Defence Force as its trusted capability partner to deliver some of the most complex and ground-breaking engineering and technology projects in the country.
Since 2011, Raytheon Australia have been contracted to deliver facilities services in support of the Harold E. Holt (HEH) Defence Precinct in Exmouth, Western Australia gateway to the world-class Ningaloo reef. HEH is home to the Space Surveillance Telescope (SST), the C-Band Radar and Very Low Frequency (VLF) radio transmission capability, together these systems add a critical contribution to Australia's space domain awareness and battlespace awareness missions.
You will be part of a small development team working with a Solutions Architect and Network Engineer. The team will design and deploy new networks and hardware/software infrastructure to uplift the cyber posture of an existing classified Defence System. This will include helping to configure virtual environments, an Audit Log Management System, Backup and Recovery, System Monitoring, and hardening both server and network environments IAW the ISM and DSPF. You will also assist in writing instructions for the continued use and maintenance of the resultant system.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Requires a University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Storage Administration certification(s).
Juniper certification(s) such as JNCIA-Junos or JNCIS-ENT
Preferred experience in Audit Log Management Systems, Backup and Recovery, Continuous Monitoring, System Hardening and Network Security.
Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).
Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
