Raytheon Australia is trusted by the Australian Defence Force to deliver some of the nation’s most critical engineering and logistics support projects. Right now, we’re in a phase of exciting growth and need the nation’s brightest Senior Engineering Logistics Specialists to join our Ground Based Multi-Spectral System (GBMSS) Team.
The Raytheon Australia-developed GBMSS is a complete land-based electro-optic and infrared (EOIR) sensing system, suitable for either stand-alone operation or remote control integrated within a broader C2 network including the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS). Export opportunities have been realised with the ongoing design updates, integration and production of the GMBSS for both Foreign Military Sales and future Direct Commercial Sales.

As a Senior Engineering Logistics Specialist for the GBMSS Team, your responsibilities include:
Performing and managing a variety of support system modelling and analysis tasks related to the reliability, maintainability, and availability (RAM) of systems and products.
Developing and reviewing logistics support analysis records (LSAR), support plans and deliverables in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Assessing, monitoring, and reporting progress for assigned activities against key performance metrics and addressing any logistics support issues.
Developing complex support system models and conducting system and/or product level performance analyses.
Other ILS related duties may include – assessing obsolescence reports, change analysis and reviews, customer document development and reviews, LSAR input/updates including FMECA, RCM, MTA, LORA, spares analysis.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Technical qualifications require a University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, orequivalent experience.
A minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of integrated logistics support.
Prior knowledge and experience gained from producing enhancements to in service support systems.
Experience in engineering support, maintenance support, technical documentation, and supply support disciplines.
Knowledge of integrated logistics systems, logistics support analysis, and maintenance requirements determination methodologies.
Strong knowledge of logistics, maintenance management, and CM databases.
