SeaComm Federal Credit Union Facilities Specialist in MASSENA, New York
Role:To assist the Credit Union in achieving its Service Mission to deliver Total Member Delight in each and every service interaction with both internal and external members. In addition, to maintain the facilities such that they are clean and professional appearing to members.Responsibilities: * Maintain building and grounds so that they are clean, safe and in good condition. Performs minor maintenance repairs as needed. This includes grounds maintenance as seasonally required. During the warm weather performs weeding, mowing, and keeping shrubbery trimmed. Keep all walkways clear of debris. During winter months this includes snow and ice removal. All walkways and parking areas are to be kept free of snow and ice. This may require working before or after normal business hours and on Saturdays if it snows. Keep informed of impending weather and plan accordingly. * Courier documents and mail between main office and branch offices. Sort incoming mail from branches. Deliver mail to post office and attorneys offices as needed. * Perform maintenance tasks as requested through the work order system. This may include changing light bulbs, general repair, delivering boxes, moving office furniture (file cabinets etc.), painting and other similar tasks. Evaluation of branch needs, such as lights that are out, broken door handles, debris around the building, etc. * Ensure regular maintenance of credit union vehicles to include scheduling repairs, check-up maintenance and cleaning. When time permits perform the cleaning on site. * Notifies management regarding needed repairs; orders supplies as needed. * Perform other duties as required.Knowledge & Skills:Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.Education: A high school education or GED.Interpersonal Skills: Normal courtesy, tact and diplomacy in dealing with others is required. Work involves minimal contacts within the organization. Contact involves routine, non sensitive issues. Member or vendor contact is limited to incidental contact.Skills: Basic understanding of plumbing and ability to perform basic carpentry (change door handles, hang pictures, etc.). Must be able to operate all types of grounds equipment (lawn mower, snow blower, trimmers, etc.). Must possess a valid clean drivers license.Physical Requirements: Requires climbing ladders, lifting and moving heavy objects, carrying heavy items upstairs, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, raking, shoveling ice and snow.Work Environment: Works outside in all types of weather. Involves driving a company vehicle to all company locations.Position Type: Full TimeHours: 40 hours per weekCurrent Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30a-3:30p, shifts may vary as needed. Evening and weekend hours as needed.Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour.
