Job Description
Cinas is seeking a Supply Chain Physical Automation Platform Lead who will be responsible for defining, governing, and deploying scalable automation solutions across the global distribution network. This role shapes the enterprise automation roadmap, partners closely with operations, IT, and suppliers, and leads major automation implementations from concept through stabilization. Day to day, the role balances strategic platform leadership with hands-on technical and project execution.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Define and maintain enterprise automation standards, requirements, and design principles.
• Establish and govern a multi-year automation solution menu and roadmap.
• Evaluate automation technologies based on performance, cost, maintainability, and integration fit.
• Lead pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives prior to network-wide deployment.
• Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, and controls system designs.
• Lead end-to-end automation projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and vendors.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, IT, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance.
Skills/Qualifications
Required:
• Must be authorized to work in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time for this role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in physical automation or material handling systems.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering.
• Experience governing automation standards and platforms.
• Strong project and program leadership experience.
• Experience integrating automation with WMS, WCS, ERP, or SAP EWM.
• Experience leading operational change management and go-live stabilization.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time, with additional travel during peak project execution phases.
Preferred:
• Experience managing system integrators and automation suppliers.
• Strong understanding of distribution and fulfillment operations.
