Here's what you'd do: Product Development Design, implementation, verification, and integration of VHDL components. Participate in VHDL peer reviews. Analysis of component synthesis, timing, and clock domain crossings. Technical presentations, including internal design reviews. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE, EET or ECE) with 8 years experience Minimum of 8 years' experience in developing VHDL (VHSIC Hardware Description Language) Minimum of 4 years' experience in ModelSim/Questa or equivalent logic simulation tools Minimum of 4 years' experience in MATLAB/Simulink Minimum of 4 years' experience in Standard streaming and memory-mapped interfaces (Avalon, AMBA.) Minimum of 4 years' experience in FPGA vendor tools (Microchip, Intel/Altera, AMD/Xilinx) Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical stress/derating analysis, FMECA (MIL-STD-1629A), reliability predictions and analysis (MIL-STD-785/MIL-HDBK-217/ MIL-HDBK-1547A), Fault Tree Analysis (IEC 61025/ NUREG-0492), and system hazard analysis (MIL-STD-882) on electronic and electro-mechanical devices, Aerospace, defense, or government program, reading and analyzing electrical schematics. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE, EET or ECE) with 4 years experience Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE, EET or ECE) with 2 years experience Experience in design for test, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and EMC Experience in Agile Scrum development methods Proficient knowledge of FPGAs and VHDL design Proficiency in digital hardware design, interfaces, and architectures: NAND, NOR, and DDR memory interfaces GigE, 10GigE, GigE Vision High Speed Serializers and Deserializers (SERDES) LVDS, RS-422, I2C, SPI Understanding of project/task management and technical estimating Facilitate in continuous improvement activities Working knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, and test processes Team work Strong communication skills, including presentations and customer communication Good reprioritization skills Ability to work independently Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
