POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for assisting in setting up an in-house coordination and inventory system for training courses and labs. The position will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Responsible for lab supply and logistics tasks at the direction of the Lab supply Supervisor and Professional Education manager- including but not limited to: Maintaining inventory levels Ability to troubleshoot and correct issues with simulated models and corresponding equipment Ability to precisely construct components for lab equipment with little to no supervision Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations organized Wear the proper safety equipment Other responsibilities as assigned by management ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Solves problems of moderate scope Require general guidance specific to role Collaboratively works with management on conflict resolution Regular and predictable work performance Ability to communicate effectively; written and verbal Ability to work under fast-paced conditions Ability to make decisions and use good judgement Ability to prioritize various duties and multitask as required Ability to work with animal and or cadaveric tissue BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required Bachelor's/Associates degree a plus but not required Excellent organizational skills Excellent time management and prioritization skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Must be creative, self-motivated, proactive, intuitive, organized, flexible, and deadline oriented OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed Ability to work on your feet, for the duration of a shift, in a warehouse environment Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 70 pounds<
