Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to support safe and efficient operations. This role performs both scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency repairs while ensuring equipment reliability and adherence to safety, quality, and maintenance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures in accordance with safety policies.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production equipment.
Provide emergency repairs during production and complete scheduled preventative maintenance during downtime.
Use voltage meters, multimeters, measuring tools, and read electrical schematics to diagnose equipment issues.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform maintenance tasks.
Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment to complete repairs.
Identify faulty equipment, defective materials, or abnormal conditions and report them to supervision.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment and ensure proper use of PPE and safety procedures.
Support quality and environmental standards, including compliance with IATF and ISO requirements.
Follow company policies and maintain professional conduct while assisting with additional maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Mechatronics or a related technical field preferred.
Technical training in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding systems required.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with stamping or assembly equipment, required.
Experience with automation systems and ABB robotics preferred.
Skills
Strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of multimeters, electrical schematics, and measurement tools.
Understanding of AC/DC voltage and electrical diagnostics.
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
Basic welding skills including MIG, TIG, arc, and spot welding.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay ranges from $25–$39 per hour with overtime paid at 1.5x for hours worked over 40. Weekly earnings typically range from $1,127.50–$1,485.00 before overtime. Employees are eligible for up to two performance or merit-based pay increases each year (January and July). The benefits package includes 12 paid holidays and 2 weeks of PTO during the first year. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begin on Day 1 of employment and include Blue Cross Blue Shield medical, Delta Dental, and EyeMed Vision. Additional benefits include HSA and FSA options, life and disability insurance, wellbeing and employee assistance programs, and a 401(k) plan with company match up to 4%.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $39.00 per hour
