*Position:* **2nd Shift Custodian
*Building:* Mason High School / Mason Public Schools / In-Person
*Reports to:* Director of Operations

*Job Summary:* The 2nd Shift Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas of a building or facility during the evening hours, from late afternoon to late evening. The job involves moving between multiple locations and departments to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the school district. Some duties include cleaning, maintenance, waste management, supply management, security, and safety.
*Qualifications Required:*
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Michigan driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive between buildings as necessary.
- Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 pounds
- Must relate well with students, staff and community
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions
*Qualifications Desired:*
- Self-motivated; an awareness for energy conservation, health and safety
- Successful experience in school setting custodial duties
