Bosun's Marine Finance & Insurance Manager in Mashpee, Massachusetts
We are seeking a dynamic & experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance & insurance process for our marine products, ensuring seamless transactions &exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, a customer-centric approach, & the ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, & motivate the boat sales team to achieve &exceed sales targets. Present &sell extended service contracts & protection products using a structured menu-selling system, emphasizing a feature-benefit-value approach. Foster a servant leadership culture, leading by example &promoting a team-oriented environment. Collaborate effectively with the sales team to streamline processes & enhance customer satisfaction. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team?s product knowledge & sales techniques. Customer Experience: Uphold a customer-first philosophy, ensuring each client receives personalized &attentive service. Address & resolve customer concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing transparent ðical services. Operational Excellence: Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Utilize available resources to proactively solve problems & improve processes. Maintain a high level of detail orientation to ensure accuracy in all transactions. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately & complies with federal, state, &local regulations. Maintain organized records &manage contracts to guarantee timely funding. Stay updated on legal requirements & industry standards to ensure compliance. Technology & Resource Utilization: Leverage dealership management systems & F&I software to optimize operations. Continuously seek &implement tools & resources to enhance efficiency &customer experience. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as an F&I Manager or similar role in the marine, automotive, or recreational vehicle industries. Strong knowledge of financing, insurance products, &compliance regulations. Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills, with a customer-focused approach. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, & collaborate with a sales team. Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail & a sense of urgency. Proficiency in dealership management systems & other relevant technologies. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative & work independently. Ability to effectively sell ancillary products using a structured feature-benefit-value process. Education & Experience Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred, but not required with adequate experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance &insurance management within a dealership environment
