Honeywell Advanced Field Service Engr in Masdar, United Arab Emirates
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites and manage activities related to the installation, precommission, and commissioning of Sundyne equipment (API machines and non-API machines).
Provide customers with detailed intervention reports after each visit, and provide our technical departments with feedback on our continuous improvement process
Technical expertise in complex failure modes on rotating equipment for either mechanical, electrical or process related failure modes.
Provide excellent support and service to customers and channel partners to guarantee their satisfaction.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, including assembly and disassembly as per our procedures, to ensure correct operation and reliability of all Sundyne installations.
Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) with internal and external customers.
Provide technical training to our customers and channel partners at Customer’s facility or in our factories, including the realization of training supports.
Lead technical and follow-up meetings with customers and our technical departments
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with rotating and mechanical equipment required
Experience in oil and gas industry would be appreciated
Knowledge in vibration analysis
Knowledge of process control equipment and reading P&ID drawings
Experience with cause and effect diagrams, API seal plans, mechanical prints and GD&T
Previous experience with international travel and field service trips (5 years expected)
Excellent communication with good interpersonal skills
Self-directed with the ability to work independently
Ability to work in challenging situations
Have a passion to learn new skills and enjoy problem solving
Strong ability to adapt to customer sites to manage customer expectations and availability of resources on site.
Technical writing skills to properly perform reports and RCFA
High level of availability is excepted
Fluent in English (comprehension, reading, writing)
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with 5 years field experience
Will be capable of working both independently as well as in a team environment
Will have strong attention to detail, and a high degree of focus on customer satisfaction
Will have strong personal organization and time management skills.
Flexibility to work multiple projects at varying stages of completion and multitask
Basic knowledge with PLC and control logic.
