Eaton Corporation Senior Contracts Manager in Mascot, Australia

Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to manage customer contracts from review to negotiation, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks. The successful candidate will work with clients and sales managers to ensure that all agreements align with Eaton’s goals and legal requirements.

Key Duties:

  • Front-end negotiations: Review and draft customer contracts to achieve business objectives while balancing risk exposure.

  • Identify and advise the business on contractual risks, such as indemnities, liabilities, insurance, warranties, delays, payment terms and more.

  • Support and guide the business through contract negotiations and help drive resolutions that benefit Eaton and that comply with Eaton policies.

  • Arrange internal approvals and contract executions.

  • Maintain accurate records of all contracts and amendments.

  • Drive efficiency by identifying areas for improvement and developing processes to streamline or remove blockages.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in drafting and negotiating a range of contracts including government, utilities, data centres, construction contracts.

  • Solid experience in identifying common contractual risks, and guiding the business resolve these risks to achieve business outcomes

  • Strong communicator, confident in customer facing negotiations and stakeholder management.

  • Exposure to multinationals and project-based companies within engineering, procurement or construction industries is preferred but not essential.

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business or related discipline. Must have a strong legal foundation in contract review.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing complex contracts.
