Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
The Forklift Operator is tasked with the safe and efficient operation of a forklift or similar equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role may also involve performing Order Filler and Checker duties.
Responsibilities
Unload inbound shipments safely and transport products to storage locations.
Efficiently stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
Ensure accuracy and damage-free condition of inbound and outbound shipments.
Report any quality variances observed.
Prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type are loaded and shipped.
Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards.
Move products from staging or storage areas into rail cars or trailers with precision.
Operate a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
Utilize radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions as required.
Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Conduct daily inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts or other equipment.
Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure tight inventory control and security.
Assist in conducting physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
Keep work areas clean, neat, and orderly.
Assist in maintaining warehouse security.
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Essential Skills
Proficient in operating forklifts and other related equipment.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to perform minor maintenance on equipment.
Experience with radio frequency equipment for warehouse operations.
Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in performing Order Filler and Checker duties is beneficial.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
