Amergis Travel Clinician - Corrections in Martinez, California
Amergis is seeking licensed or associate-level mental health clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or ACSW, AMFT, APCC) to provide essential mental health care within county detention facilities.
Role Summary
· Provide mental health assessments, crisis stabilization, and brief therapeutic interventions
· Support individuals experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms within a correctional setting
· Collaborate with custody staff, medical teams, and behavioral health professionals
· Document clinical services and maintain accurate electronic health records
· Contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning and discharge coordination
Requirements
· Licensed: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC OR
· Registered associates: ACSW, AMFT, APCC (clinical supervision provided)
1+ years of experience working in jail setting, crisis teams, and intensive inpatient psychiatric facility strongly preferred
Population: Adults Males/Females
Available Shifts:
· Wed–Sat, 7:00am–5:30pm (Days, FT, 10-hr shifts, 40 hrs/wk)
· Wed–Sat, 8:00am–6:30pm (Days, FT, 10-hr shifts, 40 hrs/wk)
· Thu–Sat, 11:00pm–7:30am (NOC, PT, 8-hr shifts, 24 hrs/wk)
· Mon–Fri, 3:00pm–11:30pm (Evenings, FT, 8-hr shifts, 40 hrs/wk)
Contract Length: 13 weeks, possible extension
