Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of heavy‑duty diesel vehicles and equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fleet safety, reliability, and compliance while minimizing downtime in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct chassis component repair and maintenance.
Handle refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as air and hydraulic braking systems.
Perform engine repair and maintenance.
Address issues with suspension, drive train, and steering systems.
Maintain heating and air conditioning systems.
Execute line maintenance welding and fabrication.
Provide safe road service when necessary to ensure equipment is returned to operation efficiently.
Identify the source of malfunctions using electronic tools.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of diesel mechanic/repair experience
Clean driving record.
Experience with heavy-duty class 7-8 trucks or 1-5 light duty trucks.
Proficiency in engine repair or air brake repair.
ASE or additional certifications.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
