Key Responsibilities

External Sustainability Reporting

  • Manage the development of the company’s annual sustainability report, including strategy, governance, data tables, indices, and supporting documentation.

  • Coordinate updates to sustainability content across external channels (annual report inputs, website disclosures, customer requests).

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all externally disclosed sustainability or ESG data.

Disclosure Frameworks & Requirements

  • Support strategic alignment to major sustainability and climate disclosure frameworks.

  • Track emerging reporting and regulatory requirements and assess implications for existing disclosures.

  • Translate framework and regulatory expectations into clear internal data requests and reporting guidance.

Data Management & Quality

  • Coordinate data collection across internal teams, including operations, supply chain, finance, HR, and EHS.

  • Document metrics definitions, methodologies, and assumptions used for external reporting.

  • Support data quality reviews, internal validations, and preparation for external assurance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for sustainability reporting and disclosure inputs across functions.

  • Develop timelines, instructions, and templates to enable smooth and repeatable reporting cycles.

  • Support responses to ESG questionnaires and data requests from customers and proactive approach to rating agencies.

Narrative & Review Support

  • Draft and review sustainability disclosures to ensure clarity, balance, and consistency with underlying data.

  • Support leadership briefings and internal review cycles by preparing summaries and background materials.

  • Partner with Communications, Legal, and Investor Relations on review and approval processes.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows and reduce manual effort.

  • Contribute to the evolution of sustainability reporting systems and tools.

  • Track peer disclosures and emerging best practices to inform continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, financial reporting, audit, or related fields.

  • Hands-on experience supporting or managing external sustainability or climate disclosures.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex datasets and narratives.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional inputs, setting strategic direction and managing deadlines.

  • Clear, concise writing skills with the ability to explain technical topics in plain language.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with major sustainability and climate reporting frameworks.

  • Experience supporting external assurance or internal audit reviews.

  • Background in an industrial, technology, or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working closely with finance or compliance teams.

Preferred Education (not required): Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Sustainability Studies, Sustainability Management, Environmental Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Supply Chain Management, Risk Management, or a related field.

The Pay range for this role is $108,500.00 - $170,500.00 Annual

How Base Pay is Determined: Qnity has job leveling frameworks that help organize roles based on progressive levels of responsibility, proficiency and qualifications. Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate. Each individual’s pay is based on a variety of factors, including their role and the associated pay range for that role, their geographic location (i.e., country, state, metropolitan area), as well as their skills, experience, education and certifications, and performance.
