Ballad Health Occupational Therapist - 29898 in Marion, Virginia
The Occupational Therapist is responsiblefor evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of patients.The Therapist willworkin conjunction with other team professionals to provide patient care, provide education for patients and their families, and assist with discharge planning.The Therapistmay be asked to assist with orientation/training of new employees or with the supervision of OT/COTA students.Additionally, the Therapistmust have the ability to work cooperatively with doctors, other staff members, patients, and their families with dignity, courtesy,and respect.The Therapist must pay close attention to detail and provide superior levels of care.The Therapistshould be committed to continuing education, upgrading his/her skills, and be willing to rotate to other rehab service areas as needed.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid and active Occupational Therapist licensure in appropriate stateCPR required
