Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and household tasks.
- Monitor client health and behavior, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Assist clients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records of care provided.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health or caregiving is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed while providing support to clients.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach towards client interactions are vital for success in this role.
