This individual will assist other trades, completes preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance work orders, orders materials and supports the engineering department as needed. How you will do it Inspects defective equipment and machinery and diagnoses malfunctions. Disassembles and overhauls internal combustion engines, pumps, pump power units, generators, transmissions, clutches using hand tools and hoists. Cleans and rebuilds compressor valves. Overhauls compressors using hand and power tools. Rebuilds vacuum equipment and blowers. Repairs cartridge spinning machines by dismantling hydraulic system and replacing worn bearings, lines and clutches. Replaces pump shafts with hand tools, machines shafts to proper dimension and installs new sleeves if excessively worn. Using a special spray gun builds up shafts by heating it with torch and spraying on special alloy metals and grinding to proper dimensions. Uses an induction heater on bearings by monitoring with a pyrometer equipment using hoists, jacks and hand and power... For full info follow application link.
