Manpower is seeking a driven Process Engineer to support a high‑performance industrial manufacturing operation. This role provides technical leadership for assigned production units, ensuring stable operations, product quality, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across metallurgical processes.

What You’ll Be Doing
Technical Oversight & Daily Operations
Direct the day‑to‑day technical operation of assigned production units.
Apply high carbon ferromanganese safety standards to all technical activities.
Work closely with senior technical staff to implement process plans and operational improvements.
Process & Metallurgical Control
Monitor metallurgical and cost performance metrics, investigate deviations, and drive corrective actions.
Assist with developing budgets and forecasts for production units.
Create, maintain, and annually update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure environmental and quality compliance for all assigned operations.
Inventory, Documentation & Compliance
Manage consumable inventories for assigned units.
Maintain quality procedures in alignment with plant quality assurance requirements.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and performance updates as needed.
Training & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Train operators in technical concepts and procedures relevant to production unit performance.
Serve as weekend duty leader on a rotating schedule.
Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with global technical counterparts.
Collaborate across production, quality, maintenance, and technology development teams.
Continuous Improvement & Special Projects
Identify improvement opportunities to enhance stability, efficiency, and throughput.
Support process modeling, data analysis, and root cause problem-solving.
Perform additional technical duties and project work as assigned.
What You Bring
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Materials Science Engineering.
Preferably 2+ years of process engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of metallurgical principles and furnace‑based processes.
Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel or similar).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with ISO certification systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Hands‑on, team-centered approach with strong attention to detail and procedural discipline.
