Aerotek Field Service Technician in Marietta, Georgia

Aerotek is looking to hire a Traveling Field Service Technician to service Electric Vehicles for a well known Autonomous Taxi Company. This is a 75% traveling position and the pay is $35 - $45hr an hour on the 1st shift. Pay : $35hr - $40hr

Location : Atlanta, GA plus traveling to other states

Description :

Field Service Technician to support dealer technicians with complex electric vehicle repairs. This role acts as a vital link between frontline service operations and global engineering teams, providing both remote and on-site technical support across an assigned territory.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • ASE CERTIFIED

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to service technicians for advanced electric vehicle repairs within your assigned territory.

  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve technical inquiries submitted through dealer or service management systems.

  • Travel on short notice to assigned workshops to assist with complex diagnostics and repairs.

  • Conduct monthly visits to assigned workshops to coach technicians, deliver training, and share technical updates.

  • Collaborate with global engineering partners to report quality concerns and stay informed on upcoming technical service bulletins, recalls, or known defects.

  • Work closely with warranty and quality teams to identify trends, investigate recurring issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.

  • Review repair orders to ensure documentation is accurate and meets warranty submission and audit requirements.

  • Partner with regulatory teams to understand and support reporting requirements involving government agencies when applicable.

  • Participate in ongoing technical training and development to continuously strengthen diagnostic skills and serve as a technical advisor and consultant to service leadership and field teams.

Essential Skills

  • ASE CERTIFIED

  • Expertise in electric vehicles (EV).

  • Associate’s degree or certificate in Automotive Technology or equivalent hands-on experience with demonstrated advanced technical ability.

  • Previous experience as an advanced technician in a retail dealership or service environment, ideally supporting electric vehicles.

  • Strong automotive systems knowledge with hands-on EV diagnostic and repair experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex diagnostics, warranty investigations, and quality issue resolution.

  • Confidence in communicating technical findings, unresolved issues, and diagnostic steps to engineering teams.35 035

This is a Contract position based out of Marietta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
