The Vice President of Information Technology (VP of IT) is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the technological direction of the company. This role involves strategic planning, development, and implementation of IT initiatives to enhance business operations and drive innovation. Reporting to the CFO, The VP of IT will lead a team of IT professionals, manage the IT budget, and ensure the security and efficiency of the company\'s technology infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to align IT strategies with business goals. Job Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Define the overall technology vision and roadmap aligned with the company\'s business objectives. Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the enterprise business and its customers. Recommend and implement new technologies and services to expand offerings and services across the business. Lead the development and implementation of IT security protocols and compliance processes. Collaborate with other members of the executive team to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives. Provide regular updates and reports on technology-related matters to the CFO. Participate in industry partnerships and M&A discussions impacting technology acquisition or development. Operational Management: Oversee the IT infrastructure and operations team, ensuring smooth service delivery and uptime.
