Job Title: Precision Machinist Job Description
As a Precision Machinist, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of 4 and 5 axis Haas/Makino CNC Mills to fabricate high-tolerance components for plastic injection molds. This role requires a blend of technical machining skills and tool-room problem-solving to support the aerospace, medical, and automotive industries. This is a job shop where every day and part is different and unique.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate 4 and 5 axis Haas/Makino CNC Mills.
Fabricate high-tolerance components for plastic injection molds.
Apply technical machining skills and problem-solving in a tool-room environment.
Support the aerospace, medical, and automotive industries.
Essential Skills
1+ year of programming experience with Mastercam software.
Experience with blueprint reading, tool and die, and machining.
Ability to set up CNC Mills.
Programming experience at the machine or within software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mastercam experience.
Experience in mold making.
Additional programming experience.

Work Environment
Work in a small, well-lit shop that is somewhat compact but not cluttered, and climate-controlled. Anticipate a move to a larger facility in Buffalo later this year.

This is a Permanent position based out of Maple Plain, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
