HELPIN HANDS DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL in Maple Heights, Ohio
Helpin Hands LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community-based settings.
? NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED --- PAID TRAINING PROVIDED ? DSP EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED
Position Requirements:
? Willingness to learn and follow DODD regulations ? Reliable transportation ? Valid driver's license & active car insurance ? Ability to pass background checks per Ohio/DODD standards ? Open availability (1st, 2nd & 3rd shift preferred)
Preferred (Not Required):
? Prior DSP or caregiving experience ? Medication Administration Certification (Category 1) ? CPR & First Aid ? Completed DODD trainings
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities • Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and routines • Complete daily documentation and follow service plans • Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment • Work as part of a team and communicate effectively
Ideal Candidate:
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient • Coachable and open to training • Comfortable working evenings or overnight shifts
Location: Greater Cleveland, Ohio Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Experience: Not required | Highly preferred
