Daily Tasks Participate fully in project teams focused on product design, development, testing, and process documentation Plan and manage your own testing and development activities to meet project timelines Design and execute standard engineering tests and experiments Develop, procure, or fabricate fixtures, tooling, and test equipment Troubleshoot new product or process issues involving design, materials, or procedures Analyze test results and summarize findings for technical reports Prepare engineering documentation and contribute to design assurance deliverables Generate concepts for new products or processes and submit idea disclosures Provide guidance and work direction to technicians as needed Collaborate with quality, regulatory, clinical, manufacturing, and marketing teams to ensure project success Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics Minimum 2 years of professional engineering experience (internship experience does not count toward required years) Hands-on lab experience, including test methods and equipment operation Proficiency with MS Office and standard engineering test systems Ability to work onsite 3 days per week Candidate must reside within the five-state area surrounding Minnesota Cannot accept candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications Experience with tooling or fixturing Familiarity with 3D printing Windchill experience, especially design change analysis (DCA) Experience with imaging or testing systems such as X-ray, CT, Instron/MTS, pressure gauges, and custom test fixtures Ready to Engineer What's Next in Medical Technology?
