Process Engineer (R&D / Manufacturing) Pay Rate: Up to $46.50/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Location: Maple Grove, MN Sponsorship: Not available Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Process Engineer to support the development of products, materials, processes, and equipment for projects of moderate complexity. This role works cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and eager to contribute to product and process innovation. Key Responsibilities Develop and improve products, materials, manufacturing processes, and equipment to meet performance and quality requirements. Compile, analyze, and report operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for new or modified products and processes. Participate fully on project teams, contributing to: Process design and development Material testing and evaluation Specification preparation Process capability studies Engineering reports and documentation Plan and manage individual work activities to meet project timelines with minimal supervision. Design and coordinate engineering tests and experiments. Design, procure, and support fabrication of tooling and fixtures. Troubleshoot product, material, and process issues related to design or manufacturing. Analyze test results, draw conclusions, and communicate findings to technical stakeholders. Prepare and maintain engineering documentation in compliance with quality system requirements. Create concepts and designs for new products or processes and submit idea disclosures as appropriate. Train or provide work direction to technicians as needed. Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing teams to ensure project success. Demonstrate knowledge of PDP/TPD systems through delivery of high-quality engineering deliverables. Quality & Compliance Responsibilities Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with applicable quality system requirements and regulated industry standards.
