Job Title: Press Brake Operator
1st shift - $30-$35/HR
Job Description
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Press Brakes, specifically Accupress and Cincinnati models. You will work from routings, method layouts, and prints to determine the proper forming sequence of the tooling. You will select, position, and align tooling in the machine ram and bed, program the controller to set specified pressure of ram and clearance between tools, and set stops on the machine bed. Compliance with the ISO Quality Management System and departmental procedures and work-aids is required. Basic quality inspection using micrometers and calipers, as well as documenting in-process inspection data, is also a part of this role.
Responsibilities
Setup and operate Press Brakes (Accupress and Cincinnati).
Work from routings, method layouts, and prints to determine proper forming sequence of the tooling.
Select, position, and align tooling in machine ram and bed.
Program the controller to set specified pressure of ram and clearance between tools.
Set stops on machine bed.
Comply with ISO Quality Management System and departmental procedures.
Perform basic quality inspection using micrometers and calipers.
Document in-process inspection data.
