Job Title: Medical Assembler

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Medical Assembler, where you will be involved in assembling catheters in a clean room environment. You will work closely with a team of about eight colleagues, and you will be cross-trained in multiple areas. This role requires the use of a microscope for 50% of the workday, involving tasks such as bonding, gluing, cutting, manual assembly, inspection, and adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Responsibilities

  • Assemble catheters in a clean room environment.

  • Collaborate with a team and participate in cross-training across various functions.

  • Utilize a microscope for 50% of the workday.

  • Perform bonding, gluing, cutting, and manual assembly tasks.

  • Conduct inspections and adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Essential Skills

  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

  • Proficiency in medical device assembly.

  • Experience with catheters and the use of a microscope.

  • 2-3 years of experience in medical assembly/operating.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with coiling, braiding, adhesive work, or molding is preferred.

  • Personable and able to work well in a close-knit team.

Work Environment

Work within a team of approximately eight people in a clean room setting. The environment is very close-knit, requiring strong interpersonal skills. The position operates on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional overtime available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
