Job Summary: The Learning Environment Project Manager II is responsible for managing complex furniture installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal margin erosion. This role works closely with the operations team, sales team, clients, vendors, carriers, and installation partners to develop timelines, create schedules, monitor progress, and address delays or risks as they arise. The Project Manager II balances oversight of day-to-day details with broader project issues, while also providing timely updates on strategic accounts to the Sr. Learning Environment Project Manager. Work Location: This is a hybrid role, based out of our office. This could be the Mansfield, Ohio, location or the Downers Grove, IL location. Training will take place onsite. Compensation Information: Annual salary range of $58K-$63K with a defined annual incentive plan. What you'll do: Schedules, manages, and oversees multiple projects at various stages, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and priorities are balanced. Serves as the main point of contact for all internal and external project communications, maintaining transparency and alignment with stakeholders Communicates effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and timely updates. Proactively identifies potential risks and implements solutions to mitigate issues, ensuring projects stay on track. Coordinates deliveries and installations of furniture and equipment with vendors, carriers, installation teams, customers, and Senior Project Managers. Resolves customer service issues, including punch lists and warranty concerns, with a focus on customer satisfaction and effective collaboration. Ensures timely release of departmental revenue billing, maintaining accountability and accuracy. Participate as an onsite resource when needed during the installation of a project. Drives results through action-oriented planning, prioritization, and problem-solving in complex project environments Demonstrates resilience under pressure, adapting to changing priorities and evolving project requirements. Fosters a collaborative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement Identifies and passes along potential Leads or Opportunities to the appropriate sales team for follow-up. Supports job-sharing responsibilities, ensuring coverage and assisting LE Operations, Sales, and other related departments as needed. What we expect you to bring to the table: Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the fields of project management and construction. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact face-to-face with customers. Strong computer skills and proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Must be able to work independently and with limited supervision. Ability to flex responsibilities in response to business needs. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks. OSHA 30-hour certification Ability to read architectural blueprints. Minimum Required Qualifications: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in field construction management or related area. Experience, and/or ability to read architectural blueprints preferred. Education and/or Certifications Required: Associates degree or equivalent work
