Now Hiring: Facility Worker
Full-Time | 1st Shift | Occasional Evenings & Weekends
Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (ESC) is seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Worker to
support maintenance and cleaning operations at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center (MOCC) and
Mid-Ohio ESC facilities, including various tenant spaces. This position is responsible for
maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment through routine custodial work, general
maintenance, and event support.
Key Responsibilities:
? Perform daily cleaning and facility maintenance duties
? Assist with repair and building projects
? Support grounds upkeep and general exterior maintenance
? Assist with set-up and tear-down of events
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or GED required
? Valid driver's license required
? Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facility maintenance or custodial work
? Experience in general maintenance required
? Experience in wiring, plumbing, lighting, construction, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical
work is a plus
? Must successfully pass BCI/FBI background checks
Physical Requirements:
? Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
? Ability to operate a computer and communicate effectively (talking/hearing)
? Visual abilities including near/far acuity, depth perception, color vision, and field of
vision
? Occasional reaching with hands and arms
Additional Information:
? Must remain free of alcohol and non-prescribed controlled substances in the workplace
throughout employment
