Mon--Thurs 7:00 AM--3:30 PM | Fri 7:00 AM--3:00 PM

Position Overview
Leads and manages the Plumbing Unit to ensure compliance with the Ohio Plumbing Code and applicable regulations. Oversees inspections, contractor registration, code enforcement, and staff supervision to protect public health. {height="2" width="618"}
Essential Duties

?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Issue permits and register contractors
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Enforce plumbing codes and regulations
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Supervise, train, and evaluate staff
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Maintain documentation and reports
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Respond to complaints and provide technical guidance
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Support quality improvement and emergency response activities {height="2" width="618"}
Minimum Qualifications
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}15+ years' experience in commercial plumbing design, construction, and/or inspection
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Extensive knowledge of Ohio Plumbing Code
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Required certifications: Ohio Dept. of Commerce Plumbing Inspector; Board of Building Standards Plumbing Inspector; Residential & Non-Residential NITC Medical Gas Inspector; ASSE 6020
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Supervisory experience
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Valid Ohio Driver's License and insurance
?[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. {height="2" width="618"}
