The Job You Will Perform:

This new position will assist journeyman-level IEs in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently.

Duties for IEs include, but are not restricted to, electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair, conduit & wire installation, lighting repair, PLC troubleshooting & repair, drive troubleshooting & repair, Instrumentation & control valve calibration, troubleshooting & repair, and HVAC work.

The Skills You Will Bring:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten (10) years of experience in any of the following Maintenance

  • Skill Areas: INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL.

  • Must be currently 18 years of age or older and eligible for employment in the U.S.

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Industrial technology degree or certificate from accredited college or trade school in Instrumentation or Electrical disciplines

  • Basic computer skills

  • Able to function in a team environment.

PLUS: Must be willing to meet the following requirements:

  • Pre-employment and periodic drug screens for illicit use of drugs

  • Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule

  • Work overtime, holidays and/or weekends regularly and with last minute notification.

  • Wear required safety equipment

  • Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection).

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience with and troubleshooting skills for the following:

  • High-voltage and power distribution

  • AC and DC motors and drives

  • Control systems (DCS, PLCs, PCs, Analytical Equipment)

  • Control valves

  • Pneumatics, hydraulics, calibration, and use of test equipment

  • Knowledge of P&IDs, instrument loops, and electrical schematics

  • Strong math/physics understanding.

  • Instrumentation background on the Instrumentation Electrical side.
