Job Title: Hose Assembly Technician (Heavy Mechanical)
Job Description
This long-term opportunity offers hands-on, physical work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment within the semiconductor industry. As a Hose Assembly Technician, you assemble small to medium insulated hose assemblies and related sub-systems by following production drawings, Bills of Materials, diagrams, and verbal instructions. You work closely with an Assembly Lead or Supervisor, using a variety of hand and power tools to build high-quality products while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work area.
Responsibilities
Assemble hose sub-systems and upper-level systems by following production drawings, Bills of Materials, diagrams, sketches, and verbal instructions.
Build small to medium insulated hose assemblies and integrate them with other hose components to create complete assemblies.
Use a variety of hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hose cutters, rulers, and related equipment in daily assembly work.
Operate various types of hose crimpers to properly form and secure hose assemblies according to specifications.
Perform first-line visual quality inspections on all work completed to ensure assemblies meet required standards and specifications.
Monitor automated equipment during operation to ensure proper performance and product quality.
Track and monitor inventory levels of components used in hose assembly and communicate needs or shortages as appropriate.
Maintain an organized workstation, including proper storage and care of tools, and uphold cleanliness and order in the work area.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling tools, equipment, and materials in a labor-intensive environment.
Collaborate with the Assembly Lead, Supervisor, and team members to complete production tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills
1–2 years of experience in mechanical, construction, or heavy labor work.
Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials, production drawings, diagrams, and basic blueprints.
Experience using basic mechanical hand and power tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hose cutters, and similar equipment.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and perform heavy lifting and carrying in a labor-intensive role.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately in English and communicate effectively in English in a production environment.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, components, and assemblies in a manufacturing setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous semiconductor industry assembly experience.
Familiarity with hose processing equipment and hose crimping operations.
Ability to read and follow detailed blueprints or diagrams beyond basic drawings.
Experience monitoring automated equipment in a production or manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility designed for comfort and safety during physically demanding work. You work on a production floor using mechanical hand and power tools, hose crimpers, and automated equipment to assemble hose systems. Leadership maintains a hands-off and laid-back approach, expecting punctuality and consistent effort while providing guidance as needed. Available schedules typically include a first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with occasional voluntary overtime. The environment supports focused, hands-on work with an emphasis on organization, cleanliness, and teamwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manor, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
