Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair production machinery, and ensure all facility equipment and building systems operate safely and efficiently. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform extensive preventative maintenance as assigned or scheduled
Conduct minor and major repairs on buildings, production machinery, and facility equipment
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists and maintain accurate documentation per quality and compliance standards
Inspect, service, and replace belts, filters, fluids, bearings, seals, and other mechanical components
Safely operate a scissor lift at heights up to 20 feet
Thread metal piping (1/8”–2”) using a power hand threader
Install, repair, and maintain Schedule 80 PVC and CPVC piping (1/8”–4”)
Perform light fabrication and welding using a wire‑feed welder
Install new electrical service, wiring, and repair or replace existing circuits
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, machinery, and control systems
Replace faulty switches, perform electrical diagnostics, and repair refrigeration equipment
Assist with fire and safety systems, including inspections, drills, and equipment verification
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
Maintain reliable attendance and be willing to work overtime as required
Perform additional general maintenance duties as needed
Essential Skills
Ability to perform routine, extensive, and preventative maintenance on buildings, mechanical systems, and utilities
Strong organization and multi‑tasking abilities
Leadership capability to assess needs and plan workflow and schedules
Basic computer skills
Forklift operation experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams and schematics
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
Good research skills to determine appropriate solutions
Additional Qualifications
2‑year technical school degree or associate’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
