Construction Laborer
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Construction Laborer to support drywall cutting, removal, installation, and repair tasks on active job sites. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, adherence to safety protocols—including mandatory respirator use—and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform precise sawing and cutting of drywall using hand and power tools
Remove damaged or outdated drywall sections and prepare surfaces for repair
Install and patch drywall, ensuring proper alignment and smooth finishes
Maintain a clean and organized work area; safely dispose of debris
Follow all safety protocols, including mandatory use of respirators and PPE
Assist other trades and team members as needed
Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in construction and general labor tasks
Ability to safely operate saws, drills, and other power tools
Comfortable working in dusty environments with proper protective gear
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Additional Requirements
Must wear a respirator during all sawing operations (equipment provided)
Must pass respirator fit testing
Work Environment
This role involves working in active construction environments using hand and power tools. The position requires comfort with dusty conditions and strict adherence to safety measures, including respirator use and PPE compliance. Fit testing is mandatory.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
