Check out our website to discover the Tenneco Way Manufacturing Engineer (1st Shift) PAY GRADE:Salary REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager SHIFT: Primarily 1st Shift (Flex hours per business needs) JOB SCOPE: Assist with evaluating customer drawings for piston rings and axle shims and then creating detailed manufacturing build plans to be used in an automated machine shop and chrome plating shop environment to achieve plant goals for quality, productivity, and cost. Works cross functionally with other engineers and operators to root cause product and process problems and assist with solutions or enhancements. Assists with plans and design methods to continuously improve production quality and efficiency. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
