The Associate - Custodial role is crucial for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, capable of performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including mopping, window cleaning, and furniture cleaning. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves the use of cleaning products and machinery, requiring a thorough understanding of sanitation and disinfecting practices.
Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning duties, including mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness of furniture, including dusting and polishing.
Operate and maintain cleaning machinery, such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners.
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns promptly.
Demonstrate time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
Working knowledge of cleaning products and their proper usage.
General knowledge of sanitation and disinfecting practices.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Effective communication skills in English.
Demonstrated professionalism and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with commercial cleaning is beneficial.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in housekeeping or maid services.
Familiarity with various cleaning machinery.
Experience in a customer-facing role.
Basic understanding of operations and management principles.
