The Finance Reporting & Analytics Team (FRA) is part of the wider Finance Reporting Planning & Analysis Team (FPAR). Job Summary

The Sr. Finance Reporting Systems Analyst (SDW) is responsible for delivering accurate, trusted finance and cross–business unit reporting built on the Sales Data Warehouse (SDW). This is a hybrid finance–technical role, anchored on strong technical data expertise and supported by finance reporting knowledge. The role is heavily involved in SDW maintenance, service management (incident and change management), Tableau dashboard development and support and ad‑hoc analysis ensuring SDW data remains accurate, effective and aligned with finance and business reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SDW finance reporting and analytics issues.

  • Lead incident triage, investigation and resolution, coordinating closely with technical teams.

  • Gather, structure and validate functional and reporting requirements from Finance and business stakeholders.

  • Lead SDW BAU enhancements via Jira - defining stories, clarifying scope and supporting technical delivery.

  • Partner with the DBS team to translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications and acceptance criteria.

  • Perform SDW functional maintenance, ensuring data quality, stability and alignment with reporting requirements.

  • Deliver ad‑hoc reports and analytical deep dives to support finance and business decision‑making. (Knime, Snowflake, MS Excel, etc)

  • Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency, proactively identifying variances and gaps in finance reporting using sales data.

  • Perform hands-on data investigation and root cause analysis, tracing issues across source systems, transformations, and reports.

  • Lead and guide SIT and UAT, validating outputs against business and technical logic prior to production release.

  • Design, develop and support Tableau dashboards for finance and cross‑business testing and reporting. (related to jira story)

  • Clearly communicate insights, data issues, risks, and resolutions to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Project management skills – including managing small projects end-to-end, defining scope, tracking timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and providing clear status updates on progress and risks

  • Issue Management – Structured approach to investigation, prioritization, escalation and resolution of data issues.

Technical Competencies

  • Data Warehousing – Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, data modeling, snapshots, transformations and dependencies.

  • Snowflake & SQL – Hands-on experience querying, validating, and analyzing data within Snowflake.

  • BI & Reporting Tools – Advanced use of Tableau Desktop for dashboard design, performance tuning and data validation.

  • Data Preparation & Automation – Practical experience with KNIME for data transformation and workflow automation.

  • Advanced Excel – Strong analytical capability using Excel for reconciliation, validation and deep-dive analysis.

  • Agile Delivery – Experience working with Jira, managing backlogs, stories and delivery milestones.

Other Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related area.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis (revenue, cost, expense); with actual experience in budgeting and providing commentaries

  • Strong analytical skills, a self-starter with "can do" mentality; quick learner in a complex and demanding environment.

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of financial and management accounting, process and systems.

  • Affinity with large and complex international working environment; ability to travel occasionally.

  • Commercial and organizational awareness, ideally in a comparable industry.

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives
