JUMBO Consulting Group A/S Procurement Manager (Onshore Wind) in Manila, Philippines

Are you an experienced Procurement Manager with a passion for renewable energy?

We are continuing our international expansion and searching for experienced supply chain and procurement professionals to work on projects in the Phillippines, within onshore wind.

Role & Responsibility

We are seeking passionate and motivated procurement professionals with direct experience in delivering onshore wind farm Balance of Plant (BoP) packages on behalf of the developer. You will be aligned with our Vision and energized by the opportunities and challenges of working within a rapidly expanding international renewables business. Ideally, you will have:

Your role will entail developing and implementing a supply chain and procurement strategy, entering into contracts with the right suppliers, and supporting the realisation of the project in accordance with the project procurement strategy and contract management strategy.

  • The planning, implementation and execution of procurement and/or tender strategies.

  • Draft and negotiate contracts including service, consultancy, supply and installation contracts.

  • Provide guidance and advice to our clients on a variety of commercial and contractual matters.

On a day-to-day basis through the procurement process; tendering, negotiations, and contract execution; you will:

  • Look to provide maximum value to our clients in terms of quality, price and schedule while minimizing risks;

  • Lead and coordinate commercial, technical, financial and legal expertise from both our clients and within JUMBO, while in turn ensuring compliance with our clients governance and approval procedures

  • Lead and perform the complete procurement process including issuing of requests for information, requests for proposals and tenders, evaluating proposals, recommending the award of and finalising contracts;

  • Ensure that the procurement process is executed according to client policies and procedures, and documented in order to allow transparency and traceability throughout;

  • Identify all value items and their relationship within the scope of the procurement and set the tender strategy according to a well-defined awarding criteria;

  • Coordinate the flow of information internally and externally keeping all stakeholders informed on progress;

  • Finalize the commercial and contractual deal as a basis for the contractual finalization through standard general conditions and/or managing exceptions to those together with legal and the main stakeholders;

  • Achieve maximum value while minimizing delivery, quality and performance risks. Find compromises and solutions to drive negotiations to a close under time pressure;

  • Actively participate in vendor relationship management, including: general communications and regular meetings, maintaining and improving vendor and market knowledge.

Who are we looking for?

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, supply chain, commercial management).

  • Proven experience leading procurement and tendering processes for BoP works on onshore wind projects — including civil works, electrical works, substations, access roads, and grid connection scopes.

  • Strong understanding of working within a developer-side environment, coordinating internal stakeholders (engineering, project management, HSE, finance, legal).

  • Experience working in major infrastructure or energy projects, preferably within a matrix organisation.

  • Demonstrated ability to project manage procurement processes end‑to‑end, from strategy development to contract award.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to lead complex commercial negotiations with contractors and suppliers.

  • A structured, methodical and detail‑oriented approach to managing competitive tenders and technical/commercial evaluations.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to support site visits, supplier engagement and contract delivery.
