JOB TITLE: Electro-Mechanical Hoist Assembler
Non-Exempt Position
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor / Manager Hoist Production
DEPARTMENT: Assembly
BASIC FUNCTION:
Assembly of electric wire rope hoists.
GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble 3-Phase electric hoists to configuration requirements.

``` - Responsible for producing acceptable work which meets or exceeds all Quality
Control Standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.

``` - Exhibit interpersonal skills sufficient to perform as an active team member.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have high school diploma or acceptable equivalent.

``` - Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings and wiring schematics

``` - Required to do mechanical and electrical assembly of hoists, hoist components, and control panels
```{=html}
``` - Required to check, test, and trouble shoot hoists or hoist components prior to shipping

``` - Good communication skills.
```{=html}
``` - Mechanical aptitude.
```{=html}
``` - Ability to operate manual and power hand tools.
```{=html}
``` - Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
```{=html}
``` - Ability to operate various measuring tools including calipers and tape measures.

``` - General electrical knowledge and ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Routine stooping, squatting, and bending.

``` - Occasional heavy lifting up to 65 pounds.

``` - Ability to stand 7+ hours per day.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

``` - Required to wear all OSHA mandated safety equipment and to adhere to all
company safety practices and policies.

courteous and respectful manner.
- Regular attendance is an essential element of the job. Unplanned absences
have the potential to impair the operation of the department and diminish
effectiveness of the company.
